Dawn of the Old Gods: Tyranny of Dragons
The Sunset shrine is a temple about two days travel north of Easting through rivers and plateaus. The area is called Land’s Mouth and is composed of several large collapsed caverns. The entrance is between the Teeth of Ghaunadaur, an outcropping of black spires that look like tentacles at the base of the Sunset Mountains.
The Sunset Shrine was a secret shrine to Ghaunadaur the Manadaur that was filled with crazed Dwarven “Sabrak” cultists. The abyssal plague affecting the region was caused by a rift in the Voidharrow Basin; which has since been dealt with. This was also the location in which the primary chains keeping Tharizdun, a greater deity, were partially bound to the material plane. These anchors were the reason that the Voidharrow basin was able to produce such noticeable effects.
